How to install an Airzone Cloud Webserver in 5 easy steps

The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has unquestionably changed all of our lives. Nowadays, almost everything in the home can be controlled with the touch of a button but without doubt, HVAC is one of the most important.

Thermostats are the latest innovations in HVAC sector, but not every thermostat is worth the investment. It is the type of smart control system that we offer at Airzone, with user-friendly features, that is at the cutting edge.

The key to this is the Airzone Cloud Webserver. It is the cornerstone of all Airzone installations and is what hands over control to the user and puts our installations ahead of the rest.

Benefits for the user

The amount of control an Airzone system gives its users is enormous. With its Airzone Cloud app, superior comfort and control go hand in hand. Users can ensure that the A/C is operating for the benefit of everyone in the building, either from the thermostats in each zone or on the Airzone Cloud app.

The user can control all zones at once or set parameters for each one according to the occupants’ preferences. If zones are only in use at certain times, timetables can also be set.

In addition, the control panels let you see weather forecasts to allow you to better plan your usage.

While comfort is the prime objective, the Airzone Cloud also helps users to have better control over energy consumption. Thanks to the Cloud, users can control systems remotely. If there is a change from the normal schedule, for example if a family member has gone on holiday or away on business, their usual zone won’t get heated or cooled. This is an easy way to ensure that energy isn’t wasted.

Also, through the Eco-Adapt mode, they can see exactly how efficiently their systems are operating and take action to save energy if they wish to do so.

Advantages for the professional

Data from the Cloud also brings numerous advantages for professionals. The feedback is highly valuable as a diagnostic tool in the event of any performance issues. Installers and technicians can have immediate access to the data, always with the user’s permission, and problems can be solved quicker than ever.

Product engineers are also able to assess the system remotely to verify that it is correctly operating at a high level and that the system parameters are well adjusted. If not, already armed with all of the information necessary, maintenance is called to assist.

Easy installation

The Airzone Cloud Webserver, clearly, is a highly sophisticated system which brings a number of benefits for both user and professional.

Installing it is also relatively straightforward. All you need is a browser or app (iOS or Android) and an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the router. In fact, set-up can be achieved in just 5 simple steps:

  1. Connect the Webserver to the Airzone control board

To be able to use your Airzone system, you have to have the Webserver connected to the installation. This is the final stage of the equipment installation process.

  1. Connect Webserver Airzone Cloud to the router

Once the app is downloaded, you have to connect the Webserver Airzone Cloud to the router of the installation. This can be done either using Wi-Fi or through an Ethernet onnection.

The Webserver Airzone Cloud Cable is configured to connect automatically by DHCP. However, if manual set-up is necessary, the user’s settings can easily be found inside the Blueface configuration.

  1. Register on the Cloud platform

To access the Cloud platform, you must register a user. You can do this through the Airzone Cloud App or from an internet browser. From there, you can create an account and access the platform through your confirmation email.
