The wireless Lite thermostat blinks red (it does not operate)
If the LED status indicator (ON/OFF) blinks red five times rapidly when it is touched it is indicating that there is a communications failure between the thermostat and the main control board. This issue does not allow the zone to be controlled.
Check whether "Error 1" appears on the other thermostats (Blueface or Think) and whether the rest of the Lite thermostats also blink red rapidly five times when they are touched. If so, the communications error is general to the system. Proceed in the same way as for the following issue: The wireless Think thermostat displays Error 1 - Communications failure between thermostat and main control board.
If the error is localized to that zone, check the thermostat's coverage to the main control board. To do so, bring the thermostat closer to the main control board and, if it re-establishes communication, it will be necessary to relocate the thermostat because it had no coverage.
If, despite moving the thermostat closer to the main control board, the error does not disappear, check that the Lite thermostat's zone is not repeated in another Lite thermostat; in other words, that there are two Lite thermostats with the same microswitch setting. If so, change the address and set the right one (How do I change the damper associated to a zone equipped with a Lite thermostat?).
If not, proceed to free the Lite thermostat and reassociate it. You can follow the steps indicated in: How can I reset a zone equipped with a Lite thermostat? and How do I associate a wireless Lite thermostat?
If the problem persists, restart the entire system and reassociate it (How do I reset the entire system?).
