The master thermostat is switched off and the system does not shut down
The master thermostat controls the installation's operating mode. If you have any doubts about Airzone's operating modes, see: ( Airzone operating modes ).

Besides the system's mode, the master thermostat controls your zone's air conditioning. Demand/no demand of the zone is controlled by switching the thermostat on/off, but not of the entire system.

If wish to switch off the entire system, you can do so through: Remote zones->All the zones->Off (consult the user manual) or through the STOP mode.
My thermostat displays Error 8 (I have wireless Lite thermostat)
My thermostat displays Error 8 (I have wireless Lite thermostat)
Error 8 indicates that a thermostat has lost communications with the system. The zone loses the room temperature measurement of an associated Lite thermostat, leaving the zone disabled to generate demand. Check from your Blueface thermostat whether the Lite thermostat has lost communications.

If your installation is equipped with wired Lite thermostats see: ( My thermostat displays Error 8 (I have wired Lite thermostat) ).

If your installation is equipped with wireless Lite thermostats, follow the instructions below:

Check the battery's status and, if in doubt, replace it with a new battery ( My thermostat displays Error 8 (I have wireless Lite thermostat) ).

Check whether the Lite thermostat in question has the microswitch that corresponds to the associated zone selected. If not, activate it by pulling up the tab to the desired value. Remember that, in order to associate wireless devices, you should first open the wireless association module either through the SW1 button on the main control board or from any thermostat in the Wireless module parameter of the System advanced settings, zone parameters.

Remember: Should it be necessary to change the zone number, first reset the thermostat and initiate the association sequence ( How can I reset a zone equipped with a Lite thermostat? ).

The wireless Think thermostat displays Error 1 - Communications failure between thermostat and main control board
The wireless Think thermostat displays Error 1 - Communications failure between thermostat and main control board
Check whether the error appears on all thermostats. If so, check that the systemÕs main control board is operating properly. To do so, check the behavior of all its self-diagnostic LEDs and ensure they are as set out in the technical fact sheet ( Easyzone main controller - Flexa 3.0 - Product Data Sheet ).

If the status of the main control board's LEDs is correct, check the thermostat's coverage with the main control board. To do so, bring the thermostat closer to the main control board and, if it re-establishes communication, it will be necessary to relocate the thermostat because it had no coverage.

If it is not recovered, check whether the battery is charged and operating properly. To do so, remove and reinsert the battery. If the Think screen is not refreshed, the battery has been used up and should be replaced.

If the Think screen is refreshed and displays Error 1 again, restart the zone and associate it to the system ( How can I reset a zone equipped with a Think thermostat when it displays Error 1? ).

If the problem is not solved, restart the entire system and reassociate it ( How do I reset the entire system? ).
There is a deviation in my thermostat's humidity measurement
There is a deviation in my thermostat's humidity measurement
The relative humidity measured by the thermostat is highly related to the surrounding conditions. The thermostat's location might be causing a deviation in the room temperature measurement and this in turn leads to a deviation in the humidity measurement.

Check the thermostat's room temperature measurement, using a properly calibrated thermometer to do so. If the measurement is incorrect, see the following link ( The thermostat is at a distance from the room's habitable zone and the temperature difference between both zones generates discomfort ).

If the humidity measurement continues to be wrong, check whether your thermostat is properly installed. See: ( The thermostat does not measure the humidity well ).
The wireless Think thermostat does not do anything
The wireless Think thermostat does not do anything
If you are operating with a wireless Think thermostat and it does not respond, the battery may be flat.

Follow the instructions in the following video to replace the battery: ( Replace the battery ).

If the Think thermostat still does not respond after replacing the battery, it may be faulty. Get in touch with the Technical Support Department ( Open a new ticket ).
My thermostat displays Error 5
My thermostat displays Error 5
A thermostat displaying Error 5 indicates it does not have a temperature sensor or is in an open circuit. The zone therefore loses the room temperature measurement. This leads to the zone being disabled for generating demand.

To confirm that it is not a part error, it should first be checked that no zones have been cross-labeled or incorrectly set. To do so, it is advisable to follow the procedure below:

Restart the zone and reassociate it to the system ( How can I reset a zone equipped with a Lite thermostat? ).

If the problem is not solved, restart the entire system and reassociate it ( How do I reset the entire system? ).

If the thermostat still displays Error 5 after these steps, the thermostat is faulty and should be replaced. Get in touch with the Airzone Technical Department ( Open a new ticket ).
My thermostat displays Error 11
My thermostat displays Error 11
Error 11 warns about a communications failure between the Airzone AC unit gateway and the indoor unit. The system loses communication with the AC unit and will therefore open all its zones and disable control from the system's thermostats, thus allowing the AC unit to operate from the manufacturer's thermostat.

First check that the air conditioning unit has power. Check that the AC unit's thermostat is switched on. If not, switch on the air conditioning unit and the error will disappear after about a minute.

If the problem persists, check whether the AC unit operates properly independently of the system. To do so, disconnect the AC unit from the Airzone system and activate the unit from the AC unit's thermostat. If the AC unit does not operate independently of the Airzone system, get in touch with its manufacturer.

If the AC unit operates properly, continue with the checks to be found at: ( My thermostat displays Error 9 ).
The dampers do not open, the system always displays STOP
The dampers do not open, the system always displays STOP
First check whether the thermostat allows you to access the change mode screen. If not, locate the installation's master thermostat ( Which is my installation's master thermostat? ).

If you are indeed accessing from the master thermostat and the problem is that it selects a mode other than STOP and the system automatically reverts back to STOP, the problem could be in the main control board. Check whether there is a bridge at connector J14 (ALAR) in the main control board and that it is actually being short-circuited (check with a multimeter). If is not, short circuit the two poles of connector J14.
A wireless Think thermostat displays Low battery

I cannot associate a wireless thermostat
I cannot associate a wireless thermostat
If you cannot associate a wireless thermostat, run the following checks:

First check whether the system's main control board is operating properly. To do so, check the behavior of all its self-diagnostic LEDs and ensure they are as set out in the technical fact sheet ( Easyzone main controller - Flexa 3.0 - Product Data Sheet ).

If the status of the main control board's LEDs is correct, check that the wireless association channel is open. This is indicated by LED D19 (red) being lit. If the LED is off, it is necessary to open the wireless module by pressing SW1 on the main control board or in the Wireless module parameter in the System advanced settings menu, zone parameters.

If the thermostat still cannot be associated, there may be a coverage problem. Bring the thermostat closer to the main control board and try to associate it again. If this time it is associated, it will be necessary relocate the thermostat which had no coverage.

If the thermostat cannot be associated, try associating another thermostat in that same area. If the association is possible this time, the problem seems to be located in the thermostat. If no thermostats can be associated to the main control board, the problem resides in the main control board.

As a final test, restart the entire system and reassociate it to discount hardware problems ( How do I reset the entire system? ).

If the problems persist, get in touch with the Technical Support Department ( Open a new ticket ).

Why does a Think thermostat display Stand-by on screen?
Why does a Think thermostat display Stand-by on screen?
The Think thermostat displays Stand-by mode on screen due to two circumstances:

- The thermostat has not yet been associated or the association process has not yet concluded. If no button is touched, the thermostat activates the low consumption mode and displays the ""Stand-by"" message after 20 seconds.
- The thermostat has been reset (re-establishing the default factory settings) either from the ""Reset thermostat"" menu or by pressing the main control board's reset button (see How do I reset the entire system? ).

After completing the association, the thermostat will show the zone's temperature on its screen instead of the ""Stand-by"" message.

How do I set up a thermostat as the installation's master thermostat?
How do I set up a thermostat as the installation's master thermostat?
The installation's master thermostat is the thermostat which controls the way the AC unit operates (cooling, heating, fan, etc.).

The installation's master thermostat can be chosen during the zone association process (see Airzone Blueface and Airzone Think Thermostat Initial Settings in the installation manual). This option can also be changed subsequently by selecting another thermostat as the master thermostat.

The system must first be left without a master thermostat so a new master thermostat can be selected for the installation. If there is already a master thermostat, access the Zone advanced settings menu and then chose ZONE in the Thermostat settings parameter to do so (see System Advanced Settings in Easyzone main controller - Flexa 3.0 - Installation manual ).

The next step consists of selecting a new master thermostat for the installation. To do so, access the thermostat's Zone advanced settings menu and select MASTER.
