The ATH AUDIO MATRIX is a module ready to be installed on DIN rail, which switches the audio signal from on of the five inputs (four for connection external stereo audio sources and one for the internal FM tuner) to one or more of the eight switchable stereo/mono outputs. A cascade of several ATH AUDIO MATRIX modules can be interconnected. Volume-controlled analogue audio outputs can be inserted into the ATH AUDIO AMPLIFIER to boost it with an output of 5W RMS to stereo speakers, or it can be connected as a line input to any external amplifier if even more power is required. It is equipped with six terminals for connecting IR transmitters, to allow devices with infrared communications (splits A/C units, audio/video equipment, etc.) to be controlled remotely. The dimensions of the device are for nine items, per DIN rail regulations.
